Abstract

The negative effects of the general openness of the Iraqi society escalated unprecedented after the change in light of the developments taking place in various directions, including the widespread, unusual and uncontrolled use of digital technologies through permissible social media. However, such developments have contributed to a large extent and in many countries and societies raised the level of cognitive awareness of the general community and stimulated the rising age groups to change the lived reality for the better. However, this positive aspect with all its outputs was accompanied in our society, and like other societies, a negative part represented in the spread and spread of the phenomenon of addiction to the use of digital technologies for pleasure and exploitation of the void to the limit Which these technologies pose an imminent threat to family and societal cohesion and pushed addicts to withdraw away from their families and communities and created a huge gap between them and others.
