The Dialectic Relationship between State and Religion in the Arab Countries – Saudi Arabia as a Model
Abstract
This research tries to provide a hypothesis that emphasizes the existence of a strategy of conjugation between three elements: the state, religion, and political system in general, and gives an example of this strategy, which lies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is believed that the union of these three elements is enough to make a qualitative shift in the interpretation of many of the acts affecting the performance of the political regime in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. But there is a distinction for the benefit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in that it has provided a union in the adaptation of religion and state in the service of the political regime because of its effect on the nature of society and the social system there.
It is recognized that there is a privacy for each country in adopting the model of a political regime that is a clear reflection of the nature of its social system, as well as expressing its religious and cultural peculiarities. This is an indication and it is observed in the nature of the political regime in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the effect of the established tribal ties there, which is adapted in a combination that reflects the success of the association strategy mentioned in the research.
