The Russian strategy towards the energy balance space
Abstract
The Russian Federation, despite its large area, has sea outlets on the high seas, and its inability to have continuous access to warm waters throughout the year. Therefore, the obsession with geography seems clear to Russia. Geopolitics has imposed itself on the orientations and visions of Russian leaders throughout history, in agreement. However, protecting Russia's interests, preserving its security and territorial integrity, and averting risks from it always requires shifting its positions towards its immediate surroundings proactively and without waiting for the enemy to reach its outskirts.
