Abstract

Within a political and theoretical framework, we investigate the topic of building the modern state in Iraq after 2003, diagnosing the obstacles and challenges to construction, identifying the prevailing problems facing the political system, and reviewing them. Then, we propose solutions and paths for construction and its components, aligning the circumstances of these obstacles and components with the required intellectual and theoretical foundations for building the modern state and adapting them to the Iraqi situation. Finally, we present practical results and recommendations derived from the analysis and monitoring of the Iraqi political and public sphere after 2003.
