The influential issues on the trajectory of Emirati relations with the Zionist entity.

Abstract

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is considered one of the Gulf countries that hold a significant position in various aspects،including economic،military،and technological domains. However،it surprised the world with its announcement of normalization with (the Zionist entity- Israel)،commonly referred to as the Abraham Accords. The world did not anticipate an Arab state،known for its honorable stances among other Arab nations،to declare normalization with the Zionist entity. The UAE perceived its normalization with the Zionist entity as a response to its primary threat and that of the Gulf States،notably Iran،serving as a deterrent against any potential threat posed by Iran. Additionally،the UAE viewed normalization as an attempt to prevent the Zionist entity from annexing Palestinian territories in the West Bank .

The UAE considered normalization as beneficial to the Palestinian cause. However،Palestinians viewed Emirati normalization as a betrayal of the Palestinian cause،attempting to relegate it to a secondary issue.
