Employing Cyber Capabilities in Modern Wars
Abstract
Contemporary warfare has become among the most lethal in human
History, largely as a result of global developments, particularly in the
technological and scientific domains. The transformation in the nature of
modern warfare has not been limited to the evolution and diversification of
military tools; rather, it has fundamentally altered the character of conflict
itself. Direct confrontation between armies in its traditional sense is no
longer the dominant model، nor are land, air, and maritime domains the
sole primary arenas of war. Instead, cyberspace has emerged as a critical
domain of confrontation, rivaling conventional battlefields in strategic
significance.
Keywords: War, modern warfare, cyber capabilities, generations of
