International competition over energy sources has an important place in international relations, which has a dynamic effect on the state of competition, conflict and confrontation, as well as on the level of diplomatic relations. The eastern Mediterranean region was not far from that confrontation and competition, as the region witnessed political, security, and economic conflicts between Turkey and Greece over Energy sources and natural resources in general. Each of them attempts to gain points against the other and gain superiority on the security, military, political, and economic levels to a greater extent, by virtue of the nature of the resources they seek to obtain.
