Abstract

the manifestations of an orientation toward war in contemporary Chinese strategic thought by analyzing the fundamental transformations that have occurred in China’s military doctrine and strategy within the context of a changing international security environment, intensifying great-power competition, and the rapid pace of military technological advancement. The study is premised on the hypothesis that China has gradually shifted from traditional defensive doctrines toward the adoption of more flexible and dynamic military approaches, incorporating war as a potential strategic option.
